Private teaching is my full time job so my life is free from the distractions and stress of a traditional job. During my non-teaching time, I am likely researching, practicing, creating practice worksheets, recording practice tracks, attending workshops and symposiums, researching instruments for students, updating my website, planning clarinet clinics, planning student performances, etc. Simply put–I think about teaching and my students a lot!

Yes! Results! Every single student I have taught has experienced positive results. The speed of improvement depends highly on how much focus and thoughtfulness the student puts into their individual practice. Even students who put forth minimal effort improve. So, imagine how quickly a student will experience improvement with just a little added effort and concentration!

Lesson Options

In Home Lessons

For students in the Loving/Carlsbad, students have the option of scheduling a lesson time in which I travel to their homes from their lessons. This does incur a $5 fee per lesson.

In Studio Lesson

Students have the option to travel to my home studio in Loving, NM for lessons. This is the preferred version of lessons as my entire music library and tools are readily available. If this method is selected, students/parents will be given the address upon confirmation.

When selecting monthly payments, the fees will be due at the first lesson on the month.

Tuition may be paid by cash or check. If a check bounces, you are responsible for paying the balance in cash in addition to fees my bank charges after which all future lessons must be paid in cash. Any lesson cancelled ahead of time due to illness or vacation, etc. can be made up. If we are unable to schedule a make-up time, your balance will be carried over to the following month, however, payment for the balance of the next month is still due at the first lesson of the month. Printed and/or emailed receipts can be provided upon request at any time.
